A working glossary from the supplied website material.
- Sequence
- The confirmed order of amino acids, read together with any stated terminal groups, modifications and stereochemical information.
- Salt / counterion
- A specified part of the supplied material description. It must come from the relevant product record rather than an assumption based on the short name.
- Purity
- A reported measurement whose meaning depends on the stated analytical method and basis. It is not automatically the mass fraction of peptide in the full material.
- Net peptide content
- A content measurement described according to its actual method and reporting basis, where that information is available.
- Lot / batch
- An identifier connecting an actual material lot with the records that describe it. Results from one lot are not automatically results for another.
- Bulk
- A raw material supply presentation distinct from finished retail vial packs. The term alone does not establish kilogram scale, minimum quantity, stock or lead time.
- Quantity basis
- The basis on which a quantity is stated, such as total material mass, a specified content basis or container count. Different bases should not be silently combined.
- Candidate material reference
- A named reference used to identify a potential material requirement. It is not by itself a confirmed bulk specification or a live availability statement.
